Introduction of the research team

For the past 6 years, with a team of researchers in public health, medical interpretation, economics, and doctors who are familiar with medical care for migrants, we have conducted activities such as surveys on health of migrants, situation analysis of multilingual support at AIDS medical base hospitals, training programs for medical interpreters who can play an active role in medical services for HIV and TB. For three years from 2022, we will carry out research activities that contribute to improving access to HIV testing and medical services for foreign residents based on the knowledge gained from these activities.
